Blog and Book Signing Update

Blog update

Since my last blog entry, I can now be found on Twitter, Good Reads and Pinterest.

Besides sending out complimentary copies of The Sign of the Eagle to numerous bookstores for consideration in holding book signing events, I have also notified my friends on Facebook, Twitter and Goodreads. Besides ordering my books from Sunbury Press (www.sunburypress.com), Amazon, Barnes & Noble, a limited number of signed copies are now available from the Bookshop Santa Cruz, Santa Cruz, California (see homepage).

Last week I learned The Sign of the Eagle placed number nine in Sunbury Press's top ten best selling list for the month of April.

I will participate in a joint book-signing with eight other authors at the Blanchard Community Center, 685 Rusho Lane, Blanchard, Idaho, Saturday, May 19 @ 11 A.M.

The Wolf of Britannia

I am currently working on Part II, chapter 37 in which the Romans invaded Britannia in 43 A.D. Caratacus prepares for the forthcoming battle at the River Medway (historical event).

The Broken Lance
Roman Cavalryman Broken Lance

Marcellus, now Flavius Sabinus's retainer, along with his friend Crispus, have arrived in Rome with the Celtic Princess and royal hostage, Eleyne. Sabinus and his entourage are greeted by his old friend Senator Vitellius and are escorted to the Palatine where the Emperor Claudius will hold an audience. Intrigue and worse will follow.

That's all for now. Vale! Farewell!
